My friend's hurricane has a floppy rudder pedal. The 2 screws that attach the pedal to the boat have both failed (corrosion/rust). Have any of you had this happen on your hurricane and what was the fix?

Got taken out by a wave straight out from Diamond Head lighthouse and got separated from paddle. Got in safely with spare paddle. 50" wood paddle w/ carbon back, has faded Hello Kitty sticker on it. Name and Phone Number on paddle. Please contact if you find. Thanks.

It's been a bad week for my 12 year-old Hurricane OC1 -- scuffed the side of the 'ama on a concrete bridge abutment during a race, and then hit a rock with the tip of the rudder. Some time- and cost-effective repairs are in order, and what I'm hoping for is advice and feedback for the following plans:

I am borrowing a canoe from a friend and on my first go out I developed a pretty good abrasion from an uneven edge of the seat. I don't want to stop paddling (who does?), any good ideas on how to cover it to avoid further damage and discomfort? I've been putting big band aids on it that sort of work, but remember when I was a kid going backpacking with scouts using something called "mole skin" I think. Any ideas? I would think this is not too uncommon

Any v3's out there like challenge??? Kailua cc is racing v3 in the upcoming race. Any other v3?s out there? WE GO! No medals though, loser buys the first round
