Well, I did it and I have to say I was very disapointed. I was under the impression they cared about the paddlers..What a nightmare trying to get my truck on with my one man. Any advise? This could be a really good way to go from island to island, they need to work on their prices..I must have gotten 3 different prices. It ended up costing me more then they advertise because the people didnt know how to measure. They should make one price for canoes..1 mans, 6 mans. It is a shame as the thought of being able to go to Maui and paddle down the coast from Hana back to Kahului was a dream..Once we got there, it was great..getting back on the ferry was a nightmare.

"holoholo" as their commerical says..They need some help! Do they even understand the concept of a canoe? Anyone know when we can bring our 6 mans and trailers?

Upon reading the news this morning, I have became interested in just who, how and why this occured. Just checking in to understand what the paddlers were doing in the early morning hours. I understand they were equipped with life jackets and radio. Were they attempting to cross the channel. Where did they launch from? Where were they going?

I am currently looking for some action shots of OC1 & OC6 paddling to be etched into acrylic trophys for our Outrigger zone in Australia.
Does anyone have some nice pics available that look like they would etch well into a clear acrylic panel?
