Aloha Everybody -
A sincere thank you to all the traffic that has been driven from here to our youtube posting of our trailer for a film that (up until now) has been in pre-production. I'm thrilled to report that our project has been given the full go ahead by the Hawaiian Outrigger Canoe Voyaging Society for filming their upcoming voyage this July AND we have found independent financing to fund the production.
I'm posting here to let you know that our crew will begin production this May and will be working hard (and paddling hard) through the completion of the film this coming early winter.
The Soul Fabric Films website had a complete overhaul this morning and there's a bunch of info there about our project. We also added a blog that we will update during the production, as well as a podcast that you can subscribe to. We will endeavor to keep the podcast updated with clips from our work in progress as we move forward from here (you can subscribe to the trailer right now however!).
There is room for comments on the both the blog and the podcast, and we're actively soliciting your feedback right now about the name of the film! Please visit us and let us know your thoughts.
