Have a friend with an OC-1 trailer here on Molokai that will be at the end of the M2M race for anyone wanting to leave their boat here until the PA’A Relay race on May 11th.Charge is $100 per canoe for a spot on the trailer, we will store the canoes for the two weeks (in a covered garage) and haul the trailer to the start of the race the day before.
Individuals will need to bring their own straps and load their boat onto the trailer at the end of the M2M and will also be responsible to unload their boats at Kaluakoi before the PA’A race. As of right now we have 12 spots open.

We have a trailer going from O'ahu to the Maui to Moloka'i Race, the Kaua'i World Challenge, and the Pa'a Moloka'i Solo.
There are a few spots still available for all races.

Maui to Moloka'i (load date 04/22 at Kamanu Composites 8am - 5pm):
$120 for delivery to Flemmings.
$150 for delivery to Kaluakoi for start of Moloka'i relay. Canoes will be loaded onto a trailer at Kaunakakai, stored at a home on Moloka'i for two weeks, and then driven to Kaluakoi by Friday or Saturday AM.

I'm moving up to the bay area and was wondering where the best places for downwind OC1 runs are? Also, is there good places to oc1 in Benecia?

I just learned how to access VIMEO in order to watch the Laird Hamilton foil video. Insane. Then I searched Kai Bartlett and there is a great clip of him doing a Maui (Kihei to Makena) surf run. Great to watch how he connects waves. Worth looking at for the upcoming M2M and MoloSolo races. I'm sure there are other great videos of other paddlers surfing so I will look for those as well. Enjoy.
