Just curious, anybody know much about this USA Outrigger through US Canoe and Kayak? Did see Kai listed as the Hawaii coach. What gives? Was there any call out to the US Outrigger World for some input or perhaps some suggestions for committee members? Is this group suppose to be part of the team selection for the World Sprints? More curious, as perhaps I missed all of this previously. Just tired of groups trying to run other groups without any input.

Now that the water has been shut off at Kaimana, anyone know what that attachment that controls the valve in the ground is called and where I can buy one? Thanks.

I live in Australia and I'm trying to evaluate the costs & complexities of competing at the 2014 Steinlager Kaiwi Solo to be held on 25th of May.

The two main questions for me would be:

• Is it possible to hire an OC1 for the race? Logistics involved, etc.
• Does anyone have a ballpark figure on how much would cost a support boat?

I recently acquired an OC1 and was looking to see if anyone could identify the manufacturer/ model of the boat. Needs some work and is missing iakos and an ama. Was hoping to pair it up with the ama that was meant for this canoe. Any help would be appreciated!!

Just want to publicly thank JD for providing excellent customer service. I'm not an easy customer but JD was patient and answered every single question I threw at him. He knows what he sells and will not steer you wrong. He kept me updated on the build progress of the canoe without asking. The communication was great. (Seeing kids paddle in basketball shorts - T-shirt kills me)This year I would like to do the same but with more sizes for the student athletes.
