Thought I would share this picture .It was taken in Stika Sound Alaska when a local dentist was out paddling and ran into a feeding humpback that was coming up from below feeding .......

I am planning to paddle the perimeter of a large lake in Switzerland in early Sept...
The complete distance is around 115km (about 70 miles).

I have been training with weights all winter for this event and I now I have
been paddling for a few weeks (since last September).
Does anyone have any advice or training plans (or a Link) to
prepare for a long paddle.
I will not be racing, it is just to finish!

AUWE! unfortunately someone needed my canoe paddles more than myself, and my wallet, and my underwater camera housing too!
Persons broke into my truck and removed these items - I am sure they will get whats coming to them, but in the meantime...

I'm after buying an oc1 to complement my SUP paddling, i cannot always do a downwinder and was wondering what is the max windspeed that people can paddle UPwind on there oc1's. I realise alot of it is to do with the sea state as well but just a ball park figure would do. I'm in the UK so unless its really windy the sea is just chop rather than swell.

I found someones platypus bladder and another camelbak on the shoreline at Maunalua after the PAA race on Sunday. It was with a towel. If anyone correctly identifies the stuff, I will gladly mail it to you.

Aloha everyone, Great event yesterday. So proud to have been able to be there filming history in the making. Alex got some unreal stuff from the air and Dolan from the media boat also got some great footage. I need your help please - Our intern, forgot 2 of our camera bags under the food tent yesterday. It wasn't discovered they were missing until this morning. Manny and his group don't have them. I am hoping someone picked them up for us and dont know it is ours. There are no tags on them saying who they belong to. We really need the stuff inside.

The bags were found and stowed ! Mahalo Evan!!!!
