Lewis Laughlin paddled a magnificent race to take the 2007 US Surfski Champs against a star-studded field. For much of the race he pulled a group of paddlers until Oscar Chalupsky made his move to the front of the field.
Lewis diced with Oscar up to the turning buoy and for much of the way back - until coming into SF Bay Oscar chose a different line further out in the bay and Lewis moved steadily ahead to win by nearly two minutes.

Conditions were flatter than forecast and the paddlers had very little help from wind or waves.

Posting it on a public forum in hopes of getting some cheap revenge or whatever has little purpose and only makes you look like a whiner. Or worse, that you have a financial interest in the competition.

There is a house available for rent from Friday to Sunday in Maunaloa (next to the lodge at Molokai Ranch). The house will sleep an entire crew easily, has a full kitchen, huge deck overlooking the channel, beds, walking distance to the market and the lodge. The owner is willing to give rides to the property and to Hale O Lono for rigging and possibly race morning. Please contact him for details.
