Ok.......your going to hate me for this but just curious as to the opinions on those that have raced both oc1's in flat and small chop up to 3 feet .

One thing I noticed about the new pegasus is it seems fairly heavy ...........anyone weighed the new pegasus ? I'm guessing 26 lbs at least

I am looking at buying a gator oc-1 Karel design. This will be my first one man canoe, and I have strictly been a steersmen for oc-6. I f any one has any insight as to the typical characteristics of this model i would appreciate it. I do know that it is an older canoe, but was thinking it would be good for someone looking to just work out and have fun.

I am about to get my first OC-1...any paddle suggestions for a 5'8" 165 lber. Brands? Models, sizes?

Is it possible to carry (2) OC-1's on a roof rack? I have a jeep grand cheeroke with a roof rack but i don't know if it's wide enough. Thanks.

I'd appreciate any suggestions on Canoes for 6'7" tall 245 lb male novice paddler .. mostly Kona side of the Big Island but also Hilo waters too. I get lots of info for guys 6'3 or so .. but that extra 4 inches is tough on leg room and balance .. any comments would be appreciated.

with the passed big winds we had on kauai, it blew my oc1 right out of the racks onto the garage floor smashing the tail and chipping off the paint. i am bummed! anyone know who repairs oc1's on kauai?

I paddle in Northern California where there is small chop and small waves. What is a good oc-1 paddle that I should look into getting? Anyone have opinions?
