Morning,

Does anyone know if there are companies making aftermarket rudders for OC1s. Our club Huki OC2s have a tiny carbon rudders for flat days that we often swap on and are done by Huki. I have a Zephyr with a weedless and larger surf rudder and was looking for a similar flat water set-up that OC does not have.

Any Ideas.....

I recently began running a Pueo ama on a Kainalu, this combination seems to go well together.

What are some other OC /ama combos out there?
anyone running a Zephyr ama on an old Gator? or vice versa?

I was hoping someone could help this newbie with some info:

I'm about 6'0" and 190 lb. I have been paddling my wife's OC Fuze for a few month's now. Been having a great time, by the way. Just wondering what it is that I am missing by being too heavy for the canoe. It was designed for paddlers 170 lb or less.

Will I be slower on this than a larger canoe because it rides too low in the water? For other Fuze paddlers, how will my weight affect the canoe behaving the way it was designed to? in the flat? in surf? upwind, downwind? etc.

My OC1 is a Allwave Helium. How can i mount my Garmin 305 on my OC?
I don’t want him around my wrist, but mounted on my boat. Has anybody ideas with a few photos?

Concerning the rear iako to outrigger connection on my Stingray OC-2: How do I know what position it must be in to insure that the boat is level with both paddlers in it? Thanks for any help.

does anyone know where to get seat foam on oahu? i have a seat that i need to build up on the sides. or i want to shape it myself. any thoughts to where i can purchase a piece from.

Can someone recommend the best adhesive/method to glue velcro strips to a foam seat? I've tried two part expoxy, rubber cement, fabric glue, etc. to no avail. The strips stick fine to the hull but pull off the seat whenever I remove it. Any idea what the pros use? Thanks.

My girl and I just started paddling our new Stingay 2. Should we push the iakos all the way in on the canoe side, or if we leave them out a bit, will this add more stability? Are they considered adjustable? Thanks for any help.

Any suggestions on what product to use to wax/clean a Huki (gel coat). She's four years old and could use a good cleaning. Also, where to buy the product would be helpful.
