ama quickstraps?

Our club is located in New York City and, as you can probably imagine, space for us comes at a serious premium. Because of our space constraints, one of our canoes is stored unrigged. The unrigged canoe is kept on the dock, while the rigged ama and iakos are stored in the boathouse. When crews want to use the canoe they just rig the canoe with quickstraps.

TIGER KAHELE - OPINION?

Anyone have an opinions on Tiger canoes and their Kahele model?

side affects of not rinsing out my hurricane After paddling?

so i just got my own oc-1 hurricane, A bit of a beater but its water tight and floats so its good enough for me. ANYWAYS! i usually tend to paddle out of lanikai or areas where theirs no hose readily available. to add to it, i store my boat at A storage place over here that also doesnt have a hose since where i live theirs no room to store my boat and i dont feel safe having it in kalihi anyways....

Scorpius XM

I recently bought a Scorpius XM in October and it's a great boat. I've been paddling it for the last month and it runs fast. It catches even small swells so easily and takes off well. I would recommend this boat to anyone. Although I haven't paddled a Pueo, I'm sold on Kai's boats. In addition, Kai and his dad give great customer service!

Osprey

Does anyone have any unbiased thoughts and info on this boat? A new dealer is selling them for a solid price out here new.
