HOW TO MAKE SIMPLE AND CHEAP MOORINGS ??? We are looking for the best way to layout our marathon course.. Use concrete blocks ?? Any other way ? It is outside thereef in the deep. We dont want to leave them there. Take out after races. And whats a good and easy solution for the sprints ?

I know this subject has come up before, but lately I have seen a few Tacomas on the road with custom truck racks. I have seen polished aluminum and black powdercoated racks that are angled rearward (bent?). I have also seen polished aluminum racks (standard design) on other trucks. These must be custom racks because I can't find a manufacturer on the internet. Anybody know who is making these racks? I would like to utilize the Tacoma's sliding rail system to move the rack around in my bed. Mahalo!

After spending all summer on my ski I started paddling my OC1 again in some decent wind conditions we have been getting . Not being as nimble on the one man as on the ski I found myself broaching often enough to get frustrated and started thinking I picked up some kind of technical error by not paddling the canoe for a while, only the ski. Any thoughts?

I know there was some mention of this some time ago, but I don't know what terms to "search". What was the material that folks were putting down on their boats to protect the gunnels in the area of the footwells from getting paddle dings?

I have a pair of SeaSpecs they fit nice do not come off, perfect for 9-man season, but they fog up like crazy.
I have read that rain-x works to prevent the fogging, does rain-x harm the polarized lenses.

6y/o boat great condition. All repairs done by Charlie White in Oceanside, Ca. New foot cables, new painted ama, custom seat. Stringer from seat to bow. This is a strong, absolutely water tight boat, fast OC-1. I am the third owner of this boat. I bought it, for my 6'1", 180lbs, 16y/o son, from my friend Bob Bones, from Oceanside Outrigger CC. Even though my son paddles, he has only used the boat 2 times since I purchased it 6mo ago. I have paddled the boat about 6 times, I am 5'11", 250lb. This boat floated and zoomed me everywhere I paddled.

does anyone out there have a connection for either new or used Force Five iako? I believe the front/back are identical. We're looking for a replacement to the rear iako that snapped near the spreader.

Even if it needs to be shipped from California or Hawaii, any suggestion is appreciated.
