WANTED - Used OC2 in good condition. Mostly for flat water, wind shop, small swells. Doesn't have to be lightest race canoe, just a good, well built OC2 in very good condition for recreational and light racing. Paddlers 165 lbs and 145 lbs, both about 5'7".

Due to an injury, I am giving up ski paddling and everything must go.

Huki, S-1X, Fixed Leg - not adjustable, Size 9 (Size 34 pant leg). Ski has been used about 10 times and is in excellent condition. Full carbon, Judes best racing construction, vacuum bag. Includes a new leash and Jack Lincke seat pads that are still in the bag. Weighs about 24 lbs. All White. $1,800.

LOOKING FOR SOME ADVICE FOR NOVICE PADDLERS IN 60's. I used to paddle 6 & 9 man teams when in my teens - many years ago. Now my wife and I are both in early 60's are looking for something we can do together to be on the water and stay fit. We both still surf, are in good condition, and thinking paddling an OC-2 may be good for us. Mostly flat water in lakes and such, but also some ocean at times from California to Washington but probably only in good conditions. Probably won't race, but who knows. One friend recommended looking at Huki OC-2, but would like some other advice as well.

Aloha Paddlers! I'm currently a student at the California Maritime Academy and am looking forward of starting a club or a collegiate sport here at my university. Here at CMA we do have a high Hawaiian culture and do have a very strong Asian/Pacific Islander club willing to paddle and make them feel more at home. I'm growing interest on the OC2 concept.
Looking at the products available, I was wondering :

1) Is there a huge difference between a short ama, only including the rear paddler, and a long one, including both paddlers ?
2) Is it possible, if ever made, to build an OC2 rudderless ?
3) For those who use or have tried OC2, which one is the best for flat to moderate conditions ?
