I had the pleasure of racing a short river race this past Saturday on a new Huki V2-X. So I thought I'd share my experience with the canoe. Don't know why really. I don't have a stake in Huki.

this boat and myself are in Centeral Texas to be more specific than the scroll down menu.

I got this blue and yellow OC1 from a friend. The only id I can find on it is Kanaka Ikaika with his phone number on a little plate by the seat. Can anyone tell me anything about this boat? I want to sell it because I'm leaving the island. Thanks!

I am looking to purchase a short (4"?) rudder for the used 2008 OC-1 Pegasus I picked up recently. Although I race on bays and oceans, most of my training is on a shallow inland lake, with a very shallow launch site and several sandbars. The manufacturer does not have a mold for a short rudder. I'd be grateful for any leads or advice. Mahalo!

I was wondering if anyone knew some of the basic deminsions of those beautiful composite canoes that were built last year to race in the unlimited OC6 events. What is the OAL, beam, rocker, etc.? Reason I'm asking is I'd like to compare those hull design basics to what those in Texas call an unlimited 6-man hull, which is used in river racing and can be paddled with both a wing blade and single blade.

Any info would be much appreciated.

I bought a used Pegasus and I don’t like the color. I want to paint it flat black color (You see it mostly on custom cars). Is there such a color for canoes? I don’t want to use paint that will flake or bubble.
Are there any suggestions on what paint to use?
I don’t want to use a paint that is going to slow the boat down or make it real heavy.
